A meeting took place yesterday at Swindon Borough Council and it has been agreed that as of Tuesday 3rd January 2012, the Wroughton Junior and Infant school bus will collect Alexandra Park children first. Presently it picks up from Thorney Park first, but as there is only one bus doing two runs, on occasions the second run can be late and Alexandra Park parents and children have no shelter, whereas Thorney Park does. There will also be a Swindon Borough Council employee on the bus acting as an escort for the children.
Parents will be receiving a letter with the revised bus timetable in the next few days.
